Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
eHealth Ontario supports the full inclusion of persons with disabilities as set out in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005.
Our Commitment
In fulfilling our mission, we strive at all times to provide our services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. We are committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our services and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other clients. This includes meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We achieve our commitments by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under Ontario’s accessibility legislation.
eHealth Ontario is committed to providing accessible information and communication to all and recognizes that persons with disabilities may require information in accessible formats.
All documents required by regulation are available upon request, and are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). When providing these documents, or the information contained in these documents, eHealth Ontario will provide or arrange for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports upon request.

Your Feedback
Where possible, we address all feedback and complaints immediately. Some matters however require more time in order for us to respond to effectively. We acknowledge all telephone or comment card feedback within two business days; and all mailed/e-mailed complaints within fifteen business days. Our acknowledgements indicate when your matter will be addressed. We will receive and respond to feedback in a format accessible to you, by providing or arranging for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports upon request.
