Information from hospitals including emergency room reports and discharge summaries from the Acute and Community Care Clinical Data Repository (acCDR).

Lab, microbiology, blood bank, and pathology results from the Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS).

Dispensed Drugs

Publicly-funded drugs, pharmacy services and all monitored drugs from the Narcotic Monitoring System (NMS), of which all information comes from the Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR).

Diagnostic Images

Diagnostic reports and images from the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Common Service repository.

Home and Community Care Information

Data and operations information on LHIN home and community care services, and information from home and community care organizations including referral details, client risks and assessments, and care plans.

To ensure you receive the agreements, add adobesign@adobesign.com to your address book or safe list. You may need to enable cookies within the digital signing portal to ensure information displays correctly

Everyone at your organization who will access the ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer requires a ONE® ID credential (username and password)
Existing ONE ID credentials can be used.
Active Drug Profile Viewer (DPV) users are transitioning to one of the provincial clinical viewers. DPV users already have ONE ID credentials

Complete Training
60 minutes

Everyone at your organization accessing ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer is required to complete training before receiving authorization to access Electronic Health Records
The required training consists of two elearning modules: (Privacy and Security Training for Health Care Providers and Medications Portlet Training)

Notes

The complete end-to-end onboarding process takes approximately three to six weeks and is dependent on Ontario Health’s completion of the technical deployment and your organization’s completion of the access requirements
For organizations who wish to enroll more than 10 clinical users, additional steps may be necessary. Your Ontario Health Lead will work with you to explain and identify any additional steps
The fulsome ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer eLearning Modules, while not mandatory, are highly recommended
Your organization is required to maintain records of completed training
Your Privacy and Security Contact/Officer will be required to review additional documentation based on the structure of the organization. Your Ontario Health Lead will provide further information

Privacy Officer orientation is 70 minutes and covers the role of the ClinicalConnect privacy contact and privacy related obligations as a participant
Privacy pre-assessment gathers background information on your organization to help determine if the organization meets the criteria required to become a participant in ClinicalConnect. Completion times vary by organization and are estimated at a minimum of 30 minutes
Privacy and Security attestation ensures each organization has measures in place and comply with PHIPA when using ClinicalConnect. Completion times vary by organization and are estimated at a minimum of 60 minutes

Everyone at your organization who will access the ClinicalConnect clinical viewer requires a ONE® ID credential (username and password). Existing ONE ID credentials can be used
