eHealth Ontario Named in Quality Improvement Innovation Award

Ealier this month, peopleCare Communities, one of our partners in the long-term care sector, won the Quality Improvement Innovation Award from the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA). The award recognizes their Clinical Pharmacy Model, which connects pharmacists directly with patient information via LTC eConnect and provides revised prescriptions through automated dispensing cabinets, which store and dispense drugs.

eHealth Ontario was instrumental in the development of LTC eConnect which improves patient safety and the delivery of care. It is also the foundation of the Clinical Pharmacy Model. We also provided test data, test environments and test support throughout its development. Read more about the award here.
