Accessing EHR data using ONE ID or ClinicalConnect accounts
Step 1 – Complete the Security Webinar
The webinar summarizes the EHR security policies, provides tips on how to implement them, and instructions for completing the security assessment.
Step 2 – Get Trained
If you or your organization is new to ONE ID or ClinicalConnect registration and enrollment practices or to refresh your knowledge, we recommend attending a registration training session.
- ONE ID: Book a ONE ID local registration authority (LRA) training session: Go to the Registration Forms and Documents Calendar and select a session. Email the session date and time to ONEIDBusinessSupport@ehealthontario.on.ca and await confirmation of enrollment.
- ClinicalConnect: Individuals appointed as LRAs for ClinicalConnect are provided with training as part of their LRA orientation pathway. LRAs can review educational resources by accessing the ONE ID Registration Community or request a training session by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
The following security training must be completed by all relevant staff. Note, for sole practitioners, only the Security Officer training is required:
- Clinical end users
- Privacy officers: contact your Service Delivery Partner.
- Security officers
If your security officer already completed the EHR Security Overview Webinar in Step 1, this module is a duplication.
- Local registration authorities and sponsors
Step 3 – Complete the Security Assessment
